Junior | Mid Level | Senior Remote | Contract
Bring your .NET and SQL Server expertise to a team building and supporting applications in a federal government environment. Walker Healthforce is hiring Software Engineers at multiple levels for remote contract opportunities. You will work across web applications, APIs and databases, with responsibilities that match your experience.
What you will do
- Design, develop, debug and support software using ASP.NET, .NET Core and C#.
- Build web applications, REST APIs and console applications.
- Create and deploy SQL Server tables, views, indexes, functions and stored procedures; resolve query performance issues.
- Develop and deploy SSIS packages.
- Use Azure DevOps Boards, Repos and Pipelines in an Agile development environment while following established technical standards.
What you will bring
- Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL and SSIS, appropriate to the level for which you apply.
- Hands-on experience developing .NET applications and SQL Server database components.
- The ability to investigate problems, improve performance and work effectively with a development team.
Active clearance required
You must currently hold one of the following active U.S. federal government clearances: Public Trust 2 or above, Secret, or Top Secret/TSCI.

Location: Remote | Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week | Start: As soon as possible | Engagement: Contract; W-2 or 1099
